The Tauranga Moana Waitangi Day Festival is an opportunity to commemorate the signing of the Treaty and learn about what it means to us today. It is also an opportunity to acknowledge and embrace Tauranga’s multi-cultural, multi-ethnic makeup. Join us on 6 February 2025 once again to enjoy a fun-filled day of family activities and entertainment. You can expect this year’s festival to have more music on stage than ever by popular demand! As well as a wide variety of performers and musicians who will entertain throughout the day, expect boutique stalls, local artisans, food trucks, and an array of family games and activities.
