The Third Culture Film Festival (TCFF) is an International film festival, based in Tauranga.
It celebrates films and filmmakers local and around the world — and stories that sit outside the mainstream.
Across the festival, audiences can expect:

The programme includes short films that are curated into themed-blocks, work from New Zealand and beyond, with a strong focus on, Third Culture perspectives, emerging voices and bold independent storytelling.
TCFF is built with local organisations, cultural groups, and creatives. designed to be welcoming, accessible, and community-focused — whether you’re a filmmaker, a student, or just someone who loves discovering new stories.
Some events are free, others ticketed, and venues range from cinemas to outdoor waterfront locations across Downtown Tauranga.
