WBOP Women’s Fund Arts Workshop

Celebrating the arts
Join us for a warm and welcoming afternoon celebrating the value and impact of the arts in our community. Whether you’re a member, a supporter, or simply curious to learn more, this gathering is an opportunity to connect with others, be inspired by the voices of talented contributors, and take part in some hands-on creativity along the way.
Every dollar from ticket sales and raffle tickets will be donated directly to the Western Bay of Plenty Women’s Fund, supporting local charities that empower women, girls and whānau across our region.
As part of the afternoon, every attendee will officially become a member of the Fund and have the opportunity to nominate a charity for this year’s funding round.
What to expect
An inspiring and interactive experience featuring:
- Creative workshops led by local artists and changemakers, with our guest speakers Mara Takiwa and Ria Hall
- Conversations exploring the power of the arts to create social impact
- A beautiful afternoon tea thanks to Blank Canvas
- Raffles with wonderful prizes
- A special welcome to begin the afternoon, featuring a delightful surprise from some talented young local performers. We won’t spoil it just yet, but it’s guaranteed to bring energy, warmth and a smile as we gather together.
Whether you’re already part of our community or joining us for the first time, we’d love to welcome you.
