We are a community orchestra based in Tauranga but with members from around the Bay of Plenty. Our members are enthusiastic amateur musicians who come together most weeks to play together and prepare for the four concert programmes that we usually perform each year.

We have been an incorporated society for more than 40 years and we aim not only to provide opportunities for musicians to play, but also to promote the enjoyment and appreciation of live orchestral music, particularly for young people.

We rehearse most Thursday evenings and are always happy to hear from prospective new members. We also have a Friends group who help us in many ways. Details of our upcoming concerts and how to become a member or Friend can be found on our website.
