Jordan River Audio is a place of inspiring music and sound run by Jordan Kennedy Stevenson. We offer services in music composition, recording, and music tuition.

Most of the composing work that comes our way is scoring for film and media. We have credits attached to over 10 short films, including “Good Men”, “One Bag”, “The Legend of Mohan”, and “The Tongue Thief”, among various other media projects. Our philosophy is that music should be sophisticated, evocative, bold, and deeply inspired. Jordan recorded nine pieces of original music with the European Recording Orchestra in 2023 which are available on streaming services. He was also nominated for best score in the Top of the South Film Festival 2024.

Our recording studio is located in Pāpāmoa Beach. Soloists and bands can book time to create and record in a professional setting. Our resources include a fully mic’d TAMA drum kit, electric and bass guitars, Scarlett 18i20 interface, Adam Audio speakers, and a range of microphones and samples.

Music tuition is available for drums, guitar, bass, music theory, and composition. Our lessons give students an opportunity to develop their musical talent in a great environment with professional resources. Tuition takes place after school throughout the week.
