We are Brian and Meg Claxton and we are The Cottage Gallery.

Specializing in handcrafted New Zealand Pounamu and creating Taonga, those special pieces of jewellery.

We are carrying on in Meg’s mum and dad’s, Mona and Donal Brooker, foot steps. They were rock hounds and pounamu carvers in the 70’s and 80’s.

Meg is an accomplished artist in mixed media, she now works her magic with the pounamu.

As for Brian, I have always been creative throughout my building career, I have turned those skills into the carving of Pounamu.

Together we can produce and present our products at the gallery at our home in Judea.
