My current mahi:
I am a holistic hauora coach, speaker, singer, poet and facilitator for creative/holistic wellbeing workshops and retreats. I incorporate waiata, meditation, movement, breath work, coaching and sensual activation with a creative Te Ao Māori lens into the frameworks of my mahi.

Background:
I come from a background of 10 years in classical ballet, 20 years of singing, 10 years of theatre and showcases, and 7 years of wellbeing coaching (PT & Life coaching).

My dance training was with the New Zealand Royal Ballet. Singing was through school and church. Personal training and coaching have been in both Australia and New Zealand where I studied at multiple institutions (Australian Health Academy, Australian Fitness Institute, Beautiful You Coaching) and have practised online and in person. I have been self-employed for 3 years now.

Creative influences:
My mum: Juliet Grant (performing arts teacher/actor/singer/dancer)
My Nan Gabriele Grant (dancer)
My Koro Kerry Grant (photographer)
My Dad David Sears (singer)

My past & present mentors/coaches: (Tania Carr, Tiare Tawera, Tanika Feur, Jacqui Sive, Kim Hill, Kimoro Taiepa, Patsy Kainuku, Charmaine Barnette, Ngarino Te Waati), Td Jakes (Orator/speaker), Beyonce.

What I do:
– I utilise waiata to activate the creative frequencies of the mauri (soul) within to help bring individuals back home to themselves. Meditation is a creative channelling experience where I use storytelling to ground them into their bodies.

– Free-flowing movement for self-expression and emotional release.

– Breath work for mindfulness and nervous system regulation – to activate the creative flow state.

– Sensual activation through cacao, incense, and natural oils stimulates all senses for a full and holistic experience.

– Coaching to empower individuals with practical tools they can use in daily life to stay in tune with their creative expression and true identity.

Why I do it:
To empower our people to become self-lead, self-trusting individuals who pioneer soulful & creative legacies for generations to come.
