From my serene studio nestled in Pyes Pā, Tauranga, I dedicate a portion of each day to creating exquisite acrylic floral paintings. The vibrant blossoms and lush greenery that surround our lifestyle property, Bushy Park, serve as a continuous wellspring of inspiration, nurturing my artistic side throughout the changing seasons. My journey with art began in childhood, painting casually and taking art classes until 4th form in school. However, it was in 2023, during my husband Dennis’s harrowing heart attack and subsequent recovery, that painting became my solace and lifeline. Each night, after a long day at the hospital, I would immerse myself in painting, finding peace and strength to face the next day.

Thankfully, Dennis has made a full recovery, but my passion for painting had taken root deeply. I continued to explore and refine my craft, believing in the healing power of art. Today, my Art Studio and Shop in Pyes Pā, Tauranga, showcases the beautiful floral paintings that have become an integral part of my life.
