I am a Chilean landscape photographer living in Tauranga. I love nature, outdoor adventures and travelling where I can take my camera and be able to capture the landscapes and experiences that come with it.
I was born and raised in Chile. At the age of 23, I started travelling and living abroad until the present. I started photography at the age of 18 but it took me around 6 years to become a professional and around 4 years to discover that I wanted to be a Landscape photographer. I am a traveler and an adventurer, I love hiking, camping and spending time in the outdoor world. I am curious about different cultures and countries so I started a project called Paper and Ink with the purpose of meeting people who live in remote areas of the world and take and print portraits of them and their families and gift them in return of their hospitality and kindness.
Photography to me is more about the experience that comes with it, to go outside and connect with life, people and nature, finding answers and learning. Outside, so many things start making sense, you see how life works in every scale and every community, you can easily see that we are all one, that we are all part of the same life. This is what really inspires me and what I try to express through my photos.
