My name is John, and I am a creative designer from the UK based in New Zealand, specialising in graphic design, illustration, motion graphics and digital design. I also work with UI/UX design and video editing. I am a driven professional who is meticulous, friendly and intuitive. I enjoy new challenges and developing narratives in my work, and pushing myself to explore new concepts and processes. To create designs that are unique and express me as an individual and as a designer.

I graduated from the University of West London in 2010, where I specialised in Graphic Design (Visual Communication & Interaction Design). I have worked with print and digital for over 14 years, and I am well-versed in several creative areas. These include branding, marketing & advertising, logo design, layout, publishing, photo retouching and typographic design. I am a keen illustrator, and I am influenced by a variety of pop culture, the 1930s rubberhose cartoons, typography, art and music.

I have produced graphic design and illustration work for many businesses, both big and small. These include Buckinghamshire College Group, Isambard’s Cycles, Banquet Records, Bournemouth University, Dior and Atlantic Records.

I am available for commissions, freelance work, and also looking for full-time opportunities. I enjoy working on digital projects as well as printed matter.
