Jolene is well known in the Western Bay of Plenty community after hosting radio shows on MORE FM and The Breeze for many years. She’s now the host of The Breeze Wind Down nationwide, weeknights from 7pm till midnight.
Jolene has always been a passionate supporter and advocate for arts and culture in the Bay – from modelling in Tarnished Frocks and Divas shows to MCing events big and small – including A Night Before Christmas, Baycourt’s 40th Birthday Celebration Concert and the TECT Community Awards.
She’s experienced at presenting video content to camera, both scripted and unscripted and has done literally thousands of voice-overs for radio commercials, TVCs plus short and longform videos.
Jolene also has governance experience in the arts sector as a past trustee of The Incubator Creative Hub and currently as a trustee of Tauranga Arts Festival. She also has funding panel experience as a past member of the BOP Gisborne Lotteries Distribution Committee and is a former Chair and member of the Tauranga Creative Communities Scheme panel.
