Hi, my name is Kristy and I’m a Kiwi that recently relocated to the beautiful Papamoa Beach, after chasing snow seasons in the mountains for the last decade.

My love for snowboarding and nature found me on a journey of the outdoors in beautiful Canada, Australia and then the last six years spent in Wanaka. With the freedom and passion of my chosen lifestyle, I’ve always been inspired by rebels, daredevils and open-minded souls alike. I consider my art most often enjoyed by folks who love to soak in nature, shred the gnar (snow), charge barrels (surf), ride the concrete wave (skate) and generally remain forever young at heart. Nature is probably my greatest inspiration. I go by Ride or Die Society Artwork.

My favourite disciplines include pencil and line work, acrylic (brush and pen) painting and digital art. I have found inspiration in street art, tattoo and the surf, skate and snow culture. I have worked in Digital Print for some time, which made the transition into printing and selling my own art prints an easy one. I sell original artworks as well as prints and commission artwork (upon request), as well as attending local markets.

Growing up in a sign shop environment, with a paint brush in my hand from a very young age. I was lucky enough to go to a heavily arts based college where I won a Bursary award in painting and went onto study fashion design. I have sold my work at the Wanaka Arts Labour weekend show every year, as well as local markets and would love to delve into some new events and exhibitions in the BOP. I’d be very keen to become part of an arts collective, curate group exhibitions and sell my work in any shops locally. For commission work and art sales, feel free to reach out anytime.

I’d love to connect with the arts community in Papamoa, Mt Maunganui and the Bay of Plenty in general. Please do check out my work, I hope you enjoy 🙂
