I am a visual artist working primarily in oils. I paint predominantly in layers, which enables me to build rich colour and detail over time. Born in New Zealand in the 80s and now residing in Papamoa Beach, I started exploring painting in my 20s with acrylics before discovering oils.

There is so much beauty in nature and I love being able to capture it and showcase it in a painting. Over the years I’ve been commissioned to paint a variety of different subjects and I’ve loved every project from portraits to beaches to guitars. However, something draws me back to flowers time and time again. Perhaps, it’s the shapes that lure me, the softness of a petal or the variety of colours. I think regardless of what my subject is my pieces convey peace, purity, beauty, spirituality, love and passion.

I paint and sell original pieces, limited edition and open edition prints, all of which are available on my website. I’m also open for commissions.

On Facebook and Instagram I share my progress from inspiration and sketch, all the layers of paint and the finished piece. I also love sharing the inspiration behind each piece as I paint from the heart and many of my pieces have a story.
