Hi there,
I’m Sarah, originally from Cornwall in the UK, but I have called the Bay of Plenty home for the past 10 years. I feel that I owe a lot to this country, as it has inspired me so much creatively, heavily influencing the content and style of my work.
My creative journey has been unfolding and expanding over the past few years since I obtained a New Zealand Diploma of Arts and Design here in the Bay in 2020.
In 2021 I went on to establish a women’s skateboard brand ‘Riser’, which provided girls and women with apparel that I designed and printed by hand.
At the beginning of this year, I created the project ‘Vivify’ which was funded by Creative Communities Scheme. The purpose of this project was to improve The Tauranga Women’s refuge by providing them with original art, created by a local female artist to bring life to their space.
After delving into these different creative pursuits and developing my own flare as an artist I have discovered my passion for creating murals.
My aim now is to create Murals that have been designed and painted by hand, to enhance spaces and demonstrate an individual or brands identity, but most of all to create an escape through my art.
Feel free to get in touch to chat about the space you are dreaming of transforming!
