I’m a largely self-taught artist (isn’t everyone in the end?) living and working in Tauranga, NZ creating bright, bold, illustrative art and design to make people happy. I’ve honed my creative skills over the years, complementing part-time painting with a career in marketing and design in the UK and NZ.

My work is casual and uncomplicated, a breath of fresh air in a sometime complex world. I work in acrylics, taking subject matters and minimising the detail into bold blocks of colour. I often add a touch of dramatic black shadow and line work to make the colours pop off the canvas.

Most days are spent juggling work, family and this emerging art biz of mine. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Unless you count winning the lottery and living on a luxury catamaran. Then I’d choose that 🙂
