Creative Bay of Plenty have once again teamed up with Chorus and The Breeze Tauranga for another round of the Chorus Cabinet Art Project.
This is a paid opportunity for artists and visual communicators to help beautify our civic spaces by painting the telecommunications cabinets around our region.
There are 5 cabinets to be painted. They are located at:
- 2 Landview Road, Parkvale, Tauranga
- 1st Avenue (outside Farmers), Tauranga
- 1270 Cameron Road, Gate Pa, Tauranga
- 276 Cameron Road, Tauranga
- Cnr Maunganui Rd and Puriri St, Mt Maunganui
How to register:
- Download and read the Artist Criteria.
- The design theme for this round is A WINDOW TO ANOTHER WORLD. Paint a window frame onto the cabinet and create a scene into which passers-by can peek. The view through your window is up to your imagination.
