Unleash your artistic brilliance and make your city beautiful!
Join Creative Bay of Plenty, in collaboration with Chorus and The Breeze Tauranga, as we embark on the 2023 round of the Chorus Cabinet Art Project. We invite talented artists and visual communicators to participate in this paid opportunity to help transform our civic spaces.
Contribute to the beautification of our region by painting the telecommunications cabinets scattered throughout the area. These cabinets, previously overlooked and nondescript, will now serve as canvases for your artistic expression.
As a participating artist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your unique artistic style and engage with the community through your artwork. By injecting life into our urban environment, you will be fostering a sense of pride and community spirit, along with a renewed sense of our region’s identity.
Selected artists will be compensated for their work.
This year’s theme is Diversity of Aotearoa New Zealand. Designs must fit this theme before they are considered.
