The creation of Classic Flyers was funded entirely by these individuals who shared a dream. A venture created by New Zealanders for New Zealanders. As a non-commercial Trust, whatever we make from the museum, on site cafe & shop, and our events goes back into preserving our aviation heritage.

Classic Flyers have a range of rooms, as well as their museum hangar, available for hire.

For a real point of difference our Museum Hangar is a unique and very special space for a range of events. With a backdrop of fascinating aircraft displays and memorabilia, your event will be one to be remembered.

The Museum Hangar’s capacity makes it suitable for larger gatherings such as weddings, school balls, trade shows, dinners and more.
