Flatwhite has been an iconic part of the Waihi Beach community for over 16 years. In 2015 we underwent a massive reconstruction resulting in a stunning, absolute beachfront restaurant. We overlook the ever-changing ocean, with views straight out to Tuhua (Mayor) Island.

Our restaurant operates 361 days of the year, closing only for Staff Appreciation (2 days in winter) and Christmas & Boxing Day.

Our main beachfront room also operates as a wedding venue. We run amazing weddings and can assist you to have a spectacular event.

Flatwhite is an absolute beachfront wedding venue at gorgeous Waihi Beach in the Bay of Plenty. Seating up to 100 people, our venue provides stunning views across the ocean to Tuhua (Mayor Island) on the horizon. We are a fully licensed and catered reception and ceremony venue, creating the perfect location for a perfect day.
