The Artery – Art education space is a creative space for arts learning and participation. As an integral part of The Incubator Creative Hub, The Artery gives access to multi-genre arts learning – accessible to everyone.

Classes include beginners through to expert level drawing, oil, acrylic and watercolour painting, hand-formed and wheel pottery, print making, creative writing, macrame, upholstery, jewelry making etc.

In addition to these creative classes The Artery offers artistic development workshops and tutorials in areas such as audience development and mentoring in everything from approaching galleries, writing for funding applications, exhibiting to financial management.

Arts practitioners are encouraged to use the space to share their skills and to form new connections.

Workshops:

The Artery – Art education venue is purpose set up to offer opportunities for creative practitioners to share their skills in a positive, friendly and inclusive space. The platform and support are provided for any and all creative workshops from drawing to creative writing, pottery to upholstery.

We try to keep the workshop numbers to a minimum and as affordable as possible to ensure accessibility and maximum tutor time to all art learners.

We also provide a pick and mix model for business and organisations to be involved in ‘Creative Bootcamps’ where bite-sized creative learning opportunities are curated specifically for team building and right side brain learning.
