PLANS & PRIORITIES FOR CREATIVES

Are you feeling a little overwhelmed about your future direction and priorities in these uncertain times? Creative Bay of Plenty believes that a problem shared is a problem halved, so we’re holding a workshop on Plans & Priorities for people working in the creative sector to help you identify your top priorities for 2023.

In this session you will have the opportunity to share both recent successes and questions about 2023 with the group as a whole, as well as in smaller groups. This forum is led by Liz Cooper and provides an opportunity for you to review your planning processes in a structured and supportive environment, with feedback provided by Liz and others in the workshop.

EXHIBITIONS 102

When: Monday 17 April 2023, 9am – 12pm
Where: Tauranga Art Gallery
Cost: $48 per person

We’re taking a closer look at exhibition planning with the Exhibitions 102 workshop, following on from the Exhibitions 101 workshop held last year*. Artists, makers and designers will get an in-depth look at the process, both at the planning stage and in the gallery space. Hosted by Creative Bay of Plenty with partner Tauranga Art Gallery, curator and writer Liz Cooper will take you through some projects she’s worked on, followed by a closer look at the gallery’s current shows. Covering subjects like logistics, layout, suppliers and budgets, you’ll look at exhibitions in a different way in the future.

*This workshop extends the content covered in Exhibitions 101, but it is not necessary to have been at that workshop first.
