This wall has excellent visibility from Spring street and Durham street, including
popular bus stops. This wall will be viewed by many and has the option to wrap around
onto ’50 Wharf Street – WALL B’. The wall has been tagged numerous times, a mural
will hopefully help deter this and uplift the area.
Access:
– West wall, 50 Wharf street, ‘Harbour City Motor Inn’
– Wall faces Durham street.
– Accessed via ‘Wilson’ all day public carpark, Spring street.

– Car parking at base of wall. Spaces to be blocked off.
– Uneven ground quality in some areas – shrubs/ holes in tarmac (pictured). Additional
health and safety considerations.
– Ground level drops off to lower level to the right side of wall. Additional health and
safety considerations.
Other Considerations:
– Yellow painted brick wall, with roof skirting at top.
– Excellent condition.
– Base coat needed in some areas due to graffiti/ tagging.
– Surface clean needed prior to painting.
– Wall continues past metal fence on Left of wall. Looked onto by balcony rooms of 60
Durham street. Hard to access. Mural to stop at fence? Landlord to be consulted.
– Ground surface – Shrubs would need cutting back/ spraying.
– Consider potential murals on adjacent buildings (pictured).
