Grace Clarke’s single ‘Psycho Drama’ is a smooth blend of thoughtful reflection and clever writing, her lyrics forming an extended metaphor around performative love, with lines such as “Break up cliché, like ‘I love you but I’m just not in love with you'”. Living in Mount Maunganui, Grace is most creatively inspired during her daily beach walks, and wants her music to feel like nostalgia to her listeners.

Welcome to PIXelated, a group exhibition showcasing the fusion of digital paintings and sculpting. It expresses the visions of Roxanne Milson, Troy Coker, Lou Agas, Jody Linton, and Sam Allen, as they harness Adobe Photoshop, ProCreate, Maxon Cinema 4D, Blender, and ZBrush, unveiling their passion for artistry without AI-generated crutches.

Sam Allen
Sam Allen is an international muralist, painter, poet, and illustrator from Tauranga. With over 30 public works in eight countries, Sam’s art has graced cities like Dubai and Sydney, as well as remote regions in Africa. Starting with The Incubator at the Historic Village in Tauranga, Sam has worked with local councils, schools, and community groups, making a significant impact both locally and globally.

Tauranga Creative Fibre is a dynamic and imaginative group of artisans who have been sharing their love of fibre art since 1968. From the outset, the group’s central ethos has been about education, learning from each other, and growing together. The group is brimming with skill, talent, and innovative ideas, and it’s clear that their passion for their craft is contagious.
Third Culture Film Festival
The Third Culture Film Festival debuts in Tauranga in 2024, following its success in Hong Kong. This two-day event celebrates global cinema and cultural diversity, offering a vibrant platform for international and local films. Beyond screenings, it fosters dialogue through workshops, panels, and networking, becoming a focal point for filmmakers and enthusiasts. Submissions are open until January 30th on Film Freeway.
