Create your own butterfly or moth artwork on canvas using paint, collage, and textured materials.
In this hands-on workshop, kids will explore colour, pattern, detail, and texture while designing a unique winged creation inspired by nature. They’ll learn simple techniques for layering materials, adding decorative details, and bringing their ideas to life.
Claire Delaney is a visual storyteller living in Rotorua. Originally from the UK she got a BA hon in Textiles and fashion attributing this to why her characters are always so uniquely dressed. Claire’s style is described as whimsical and playful. She has written and illustrated several of her own books and illustrates constantly for commission work.
