I am the extreme Ballet enthusiast and founder of Ballet.Culture.

Since the age of 4, Ballet has been my passion and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to have found a very tiny place in Tauranga’s massive dance community.

I am a qualified Ballet teacher with The Imperial Classical Ballet (ISTD), but also have a working knowledge of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and BBO Dance syllabi. I use my experience to create and choreograph a syllabus that reflects technique, poise, passion and fun.

My qualifications go beyond Ballet, as I am also a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. This provides me with the knowledge to guide little ones and encourage movements beneficial for their development.

I created Ballet.Culture to celebrate the amazing benefits that Ballet has to offer, in a welcoming, non-judgmental and empowering environment.

Every year, we have a performance to show the community what we are capable of. When I choreograph the dances, I aim to give Ballet.Culture dancer an opportunity to shine on stage.

Being inclusive and celebrating Culture is very important to us as a dance community. That is what inspired the name, Ballet.Culture.
