Hi, I’m Abs! Abigail Perano

I relish using bold colour and texture to reflect the beauty and delight in creation.

Pallet knife, dot and splatter painting are my signature styles with an impressionist flavour. I enjoy painting trees, flowers and water with never-ending inspiration from around the Bay. I mostly use acrylics.

I’m originally from England and moved to New Zealand in 2010 seeking adventure and a change from full-time optometry. I have always loved painting but launched back into it in lockdown 2020. I have joined the Tauranga Art Society and taken a few lessons at the Artery but am mainly self-taught.
