Hi, I’m Tina, an artist, maker and creative educator who has loved making art for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is sitting in kindergarten, opening an old wooden box full of crayons and breathing in that lovely waxy smell. From that moment on, I drew constantly, discovering how creativity could make the world feel brighter and more colourful.
That feeling is what I want to bring to children today—the joy of creating something new, exploring materials, and expressing themselves freely. I love teaching art and crafts, encouraging tamariki to experiment, follow their ideas, and discover their own creative voice. My practice includes drawing, painting, crafting, and sensory play, always guided by curiosity, imagination, and a sense of wonder.
I was born in Slovakia, where I studied visual art and earned a certificate in pedagogy. After moving to New Zealand and raising two kids, I completed my Level 4 Early Childhood Education qualification—combining my love of art with my passion for teaching children.
I’m open to collaborations, kids’ art workshops, and creative community projects. If you’d like to connect or create something meaningful together, I’d love to hear from you.
