I’m a Tauranga based artist and a permanent artist-in-residence at The Incubator Villa Studios in the Historic Village. I also host workshops through the Incubator Creative Campus.

I’m represented by The Frame Workshop & Gallery in Auckland and The Mandarin Tree in Gordonton.

I’ve been painting and exploring a variety of art forms for as long as I can remember. Creativity is an important part of my life.

I primarily work with oil paints; drawn to their silky texture and the way they blend effortlessly to create realistic imagery. I develop depth in my work by building up multiple layers of paint. I’m also inspired by natural lighting, such as morning light streaming through a window, which creates warmth, shadows, and subtle reflections across my subjects.

My work is often guided by a sense of stillness. I’m drawn to quiet moments and I’m always waiting for a scene to capture my attention and serve as a reference for my paintings.
