Hey, y’all! I’m Grace Windey, an American ex-pat in the heart of the BOP.

My background is in sculpture and installation art, but I put concept before medium in all my work, giving me a uniquely interdisciplinary approach to making. Depending on the piece, I work in metal, textiles, paper, glass – you name it!

My practice centres on blending the written word and my personal experiences into pieces exploring the impact of performance art fused with traditional craft.

I pursued art in the university setting at home and abroad; I have a BFA in Sculpture from Winthrop University in South Carolina and a Masters in Jewellery and Metals from the Royal College of Art in London.

I am internationally exhibited, individually and collaboratively. Still, my passion is the creative community, and my goal is to enrich the artistic environment in the BOP by sharing the techniques I’ve learned with others. I am looking to become more involved and am always looking to connect with other creative minds!

I am interested in exhibitions, commissions, providing workshops, artistic employment, residency opportunities, and just meeting new faces!
