My design process incorporates fire, water, air and acids to reveal the hidden elements of metal. Light, darkness, texture and vivid patinas emerge. These constantly evolve through this alchemy and are a source of fascination. I enjoy the physical aspects of working with heavy metals and drawing out the organic beauty of this medium. My creative expression ranges from sculpture to high end wall art. I produce unique gallery and commission pieces and I enjoy working closely with my clients to capture their vision. I have been a guest artist for the Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival in 2018 and 2020, and my work features in two permanent concept gardens, at the Tauranga Historic Village and Tauranga Racecourse. A selection of my art work can be seen at galleries and garden centers throughout the North Island under the labels of “Re.Work.It” and Isaac Weston”. Current work can be viewed by appointment at our onsite showroom at 10 Sunny Bay Road, Matua Tauranga.
