As a writer and content creator with a special interest in the arts, the creative sector, not for profits and a whole lot more, I’d like to say ‘kia ora’ to you all.

I’ve lived in Tauranga since 2004 – worked as a photojournalist in tourism marketing for a few years and then as the online editor for the Bay of Plenty Times. You may know me from my stories in Vibe and indulge, or from my time as marketing & media coordinator at Tauranga Art Gallery.

I have written lots of artist profiles and stories for Creative Bay of Plenty back in the day as well, when Creative Beat was still a thing. I loved that publication and was sad to see it go, but things change and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Sweet Orange, my own writing business, was launched in 2013 and became an official limited company in 2018. For the first few years I did it all by myself, but Sweet Orange is now growing into an awesome local writing agency.

I love working with other talented copywriters and creatives on website content, articles for print and online, press releases and media campaigns, publications, marketing materials, and so much more. We’re storytellers and we love creating content that inspires, gets found by Google, and converts.

I’ve been a copywriter and journalist for more than 20 years, and I love working with people from all walks of life. I’m comfortable with a range of industries, markets, and audiences and it would be great to connect with you. If you need some word power, feel free to email me, find me on LinkedIn, or send me a message.

Sweet Orange would love to hear from you!
