Hey, I’m Murphy Bruning, a year 13 student attending Te Puke High School.

I am a musician, photographer and graphic designer.

My music experience includes performing in the 2019 and 2020 Smokefreerockquest, many of TPHS’s Talent Quest’s, and even as a musician in our school’s production of Grease.

My visual art experience includes designing business cards and invitations for different businesses and events in Te Puke, as well as curating the Beneath the Surface Art Exhibition, taking place from the 8th to the 10th of September.

I plan on studying the Bachelor of Commercial Music at Massey University in 2022 and possibly taking a teaching course and returning to TPHS as a teacher after experiencing the thrill of performing and recording.
