I am Sariah Shiloh, a multidisciplinary creative passionate about storytelling, performance, and visual expression. I work across dance, visual art, writing, music, and film, and I am always looking for new ways to challenge myself and expand my creative practice.

I have trained in dance for 14 years and have a strong background in performance, alongside experience in theatre both on stage and behind the scenes. As an artist, I enjoy working across a range of mediums including murals, canvas work, and illustration, particularly for books. My writing spans poetry, novels, and screenplays, often exploring emotional and abstract themes. I am also a musician, playing guitar and piano and singing, with a deep connection to live performance.

Creativity has been a constant in my life from a young age. Growing up in a musical family, with my father Hans Kraenzlin as a strong influence, I was encouraged to explore and develop my artistic voice early on. I have featured on two of his songs and performed as a dancer in his music video “Wrestle.” With a European background spanning Poland, Germany, and the UK, my work is shaped by a mix of cultural influences and perspectives.

I have been educated at Bethlehem College since Year 7, after being homeschooled, and have actively participated in school productions in a variety of roles. My formal training includes completing Grade 5 in Trinity Piano, and I am currently working towards Grade 8 and a diploma in Speech and Drama Trinity. I have also trained with Dance Education Centre and taken part in ballet and speech and drama competitions. While I have had some formal art training, much of my development has come from self-directed learning and being surrounded by other creatives.

Currently, I am writing and illustrating my first book, while continuing to develop my work in visual art, performance, and film. I am particularly interested in expanding into mural art and larger-scale projects, as well as exploring opportunities in acting, directing, and creative collaboration.

I am open to collaborations, creative projects, and opportunities to connect with others in the arts community. I am also interested in sharing my skills through teaching dance and contributing to the growth of the creative industry in the Bay of Plenty.
