Creative Bay of Plenty is on the hunt for an experienced leader with strong connections into the local community and a good understanding of the ngā toi Māori sector to take up the senior leadership position of Ngā Toi Māori Navigator. This impactful role reports directly to the board and is responsible for leading engagement with Māori artists and arts practitioners, providing strategic advice on the direction and development of the ngā toi Māori sector, advocating on behalf of ringatoi, and providing specialist knowledge to support investment and strategic planning decisions.

A pivotal role that helps shape the future direction of Creative Bay of Plenty’s operations and plays a key part in achieving its strategic objectives, the Ngā Toi Māori Navigator will facilitate valuable collaborative opportunities and support the success and empowerment of indigenous artists.
